This fight is about as evenly matched in both records & style as you could get but I don't expect it to go past 3 rounds & if it does it'll be fought mostly on the ground.

Hey, thanks for the invite. I been busy training & teaching MMA basics.
I have a student coming over, later, for a private lesson, helping her prepare for her first MMA class down the club, with the blokes I train with.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not an MMA expert, but I know enough to help team mates who are fairly new to the sport.

My predictions...

Nick Diaz v Carlos Condit - I want Condit to win (I also want his JACO MMA bag, it's awesome! Lol) Condit by 4th round stoppage. Diaz' cardio is perhaps a little better than Condits, but this isn't a triathalon, it's a 5 round fight.
Diaz will keep coming & as mentally tough as he is, I can't see his body holding up to that kind of relentless punishment.

Roy Nelson v Fabricio Werdum - Roy by crucifix or knockout! With Roy, it's like playing the same 2 lines of Lotto numbers, eventually they come up & you get a big win.

Josh Koscheck v Mike Pierce - Koscheck by pretending he took a knee to the face, when his oponant missed by a mile, then, in the confusion... tko in the 3rd for Kos.

Renan Barão v Scott Jorgensen - Jorgensen by submission.
Ed Herman v Clifford Starks - Ed by decision

I thought the Gladiator intro was decent.... 10 Years of good service!! The new intro is basically a highlight reel from what i've read, a tribute to the fighters who've helped grow the sport.

Dan Henderson turned down a fight with Rogerio Nogueira and will wait until late summer for a crack at the winner of Jones/Evans.

Thanks for the link, I will try and purchase one soon. Also found a few on ebay, but I always been a bit weary of ebay sellers I don't know. And it's £88 on ebay, where as osaka fight gear have it for £65, so again, thanks for the link dude!

A little MMA kit advice...
I recently purchased some everlast mma striking gloves. Very happy with them. I bought large, even though I am of average hight and build. I weigh 160lbs. Also, I bought their shin guards for a good price online & although I am happy with the quality, they are way too small. Shoulda ordered large/extra large & now gotta swap them asap.

Do any of you own decent MMA kit? Anything to recommend, or avoid?
