America Horror Story;Cult S 7 Ep 1 Election Night;

First episode in the series focuses on the aftermath of Donald Trump's Presidential Election victory & how it has impacted on several of the characters in the series.
Series regular Sarah Paulson plays Ally a lady who suffers from terrible panic attacks & becomes hysterical in the aftermath of Trump becoming President fearing for the future of the country & her family in which she is in a same-sex marriage.Ally although receiving councelling for her illness continues to see horrific visions (mainly involving clowns) making trips to the supermarket at times troubling.
On the otherhand series regular Evan Peters plays Kai Anderson a Trump supporter who looks upon Trump's success for Kai as an to exert his own extremist idea's on people by some sort of false hope to the down-trodden.

For anyone familiar with the previous series particularly AMH;Freak Show will notice a familiar guest appearance by a scary looking clown/psychopath.

I've been a big fan of the early American Horror Story series 1,2(Asylum),4(Freak Show) but I thought it lost it's way in the past two series.As first episodes go I thought this was okay but not a patch on the earlier series themes.
