good move i think, she never got over with the fans when she was champ as a silent destroyer, and once she started to talk she was not very good at it, once the fans are back just think of the heat Vickie will get her, she could finally end up being the big heel AEW always wanted,

on another note the womans division is a bit of a mess as the number 2,3,4 & 5 ranked women have got injury's so Shida has issued an open challenge to any woman wrestler in the world who wants a shot at her belt,

I dont get why they are doing this womans tag team Tournament when most of there woman are injured

I read that Vickie and Nyla talked about doing this in January, and Vickie was delayed by covid. So clearly I know nothing

Lol that was my first thought, i also though it funny they couldn't give a date for this tournament other than this summer as so many of the women they want to use in it are out of action at the moment,
Honestly who's going to win it other than Brandy and Alie all the big names are chasing the singles belt, and unlike impact they have not spent months building up teams in the woman's devision , it all feels a bit rushed, if they are going to do it properly they need to sign at least 6 women we have heard of and not just girls who's claim to fame is they jobbed a few times on nxt lol,

aint the tournament to win a cup not a belt and they have some woman that wrestle on AEW Dark but they are just jobbers and have no name value

They should probably get an actual womens division before they start doing cups and shit like that its the worst womens division in any company as i said tessa blanchard would be a welcome edition but with a aew being a sjw company shes got no chance

problem is on one trusts her after the shit she pulled at impact, plus shes said after shes married later this year she will be in mexico a lot more not coming to the us that often, as her dad works for AEW i am sure if they wanted her they could make it happen,

and i do agree goat, its always been AEW week point, they now have 5 good women to chase the belt but everyone else is just a no name jobber or some name for japan or Europe who will only do 2 - 3 matches on a tour of the us, sign 6 names then they have a division at the moment they don't

this weeks show was good but strange it felt more like a CZW hardcore show at times,

match 1 Cody beat Eddie Kingston

match 2 MJF beat a jobber (Griff Garrison)

match 3 Young Bucks beat The Butcher and Blade

match 4 Diamante beat Ivelisse

match 5 Adam Page beat Alan Angels (number 5 from the dark order)

main event Chris Jericho and Jake Hager beat Jurassic Express

match 1 was great and a nice reward if you follow independent wrestling and know what a hardcore legend Kingston is, not been on tv since he was part of LAX with Ortiz and Santana on impact a few years ago, i guess they got him the chance at AEW,
was a full on hardcore no rules match that let Kingston really push Cody including dropping him on to a load of drawing pins Cody had lots stuck in his back and arm, nice to see Cody do something different but was strange all the will he go heel stuff from last week had been total forgotten,

match 2 was pointless they seam to have no idea what to do with MJF at the moment , he seams a million miles away from a belt and yet 6 months ago he was the hottest heel on earth,

match 3 was another hardcore match that was back stage a lot of the time i guess it dont matter with no fans in, they fought in the kitchen, the bar , the parking lot, before finally getting to the ring the Bucks won it by jumping of the racking that holds the screen up and putting the others thought tables looked cool but honestly it was not a wrestling match it was just a set of pre planned stunts they moved from one set to the next got them self in to position then waited for the stunt, not good at all,

match 4 was trying to get get to new women over as they are so short of women at the moment was a good match but honestly as we dont know them or what they have done together before it was hard to get interested in them,
Diamante i remember from impact, she was funnily in it at the same time as Eddie Kingston also in LAX, not see her on anything else
Ivelisse was on WWE on Tough Enough a long time ago before working on NXT for a couple of years no idea what shes done in the years since then,

match 5 was a bit pointless just really to remind us how good Page is as a solo wrestler and to set up the dark order going after the tag belts, we where told the dark order is number 1 contenders some how considering they have had no matchs and not beat anyone

match 6 was really good everyone had a good match and it nicely set up a match next week, everything made sense for once and was good to see Sammy Guevara back from his suspension after saying he wanted to rape Sasha Banks in 2016, good to see the inner circle bake to full strength

agree about Eddie Kingston. Saw him live last year at Progress in Manchester taking on Jon Gresham (Jon’s fiancee is Jordynne Grace from impact) then after the show he was more than happy to have a photo with me & a chat. What a great guy he is



Have heard of Diamanté too from her impact days. Her fiancée Kiera Hogan is still in impact
