Mark Wood isn't fit enough to play, after bowling like lightning in the first match, with Tom Curran coming in.

India make 2 changes, with debuts given to the Mumbai Indian stars Ishan Kishan & Suryakumar Yadav, with Shikhar Dharwan & Axar Patel missing out. This change leaves India with only 5 front-line bowlers.

The remaining matches will be played with no crowds, due to an increase in covid infections in Ahmedabad.

With the 3rd T20 to be played on a red-soil pitch, England may bring in Moeen Ali. Mark Wood, who missed the 2nd match with a heel injury, could return in this match or the next.

India should have Rohit Sharma back at the top of the order, with K L Rahul likely to miss out.

The pitch for the 3rd D/N Test in Ahmedabad has been given an average rating & therefore will not earn any demerit points which can accumulate into the venue being suspended from hosting International matches.
The match lasted 140'2 overs, which amounts to less than 10 overs more than a day & a half. Kohli described the pitch as very good, which is a complete joke. The ruling was made by ICC match referee, former Indian fast bowler Javagal Srinath.
