dont forget how much money would glazers leave fergie after taking money to pay for the debt (club and their own). i think fergie will retire when giggs and scholes do. mourinho to be the likely candidate for the job. everton were very unlucky not to get a point.

man city would need to get rid off some players in the summer. chelsea could have a new manager in the summer.

it could be 6 to 8 teams playing for the champions league places next season.

He needs at least four players
1. A goal scorer
2. A defensive midfielder
3. Strong central defender
4.A keeper

thats if arsene spends a penny. parker, cahill and either gyan or odemwingie or sturridge.

next season could be very interesting and very close.

If Arsene Wenger does not spend any money in the summer then I am sorry but I would have lost faith in Wenger. Because without spending Arsenal are not going to win a major trophy. I am getting sick of my team, Arsenal, always being in the race for the title and then watching it all fold like a pack of cards with about 10 games to go in the season.

6 years without a trophy. Surely that should tell Wenger that we need to strengthen, with a defender, midfidelder, striker and a keeper. If Arsenal do not win anything again next season then I think Wenger should go, even though it pains me to say it as an Arsenal fan

Get rid of Bendtner, Eboue and maybe Arshavin.

Arsenal need to get rid of more than that...
They need to get rid of up to ten players.

One player at the top of their shopping list should be Blackburn defender Chris Samba. He's been holding Blackburn together all session and may want to stop in The Premiership when Blackburn are relegated.

The kind of support he should be given is from Frank Lampard running on from midfield & not a fellow striker as he's not very good in a two man strikeforce this is probably one of the reasons Robbie Keane & stretch armstrong didn't last at Liverpool.

Playing to his strengths leaves you far too reliant on him and makes your side easy to defend against though.

We ended up selling Crouchy and Keane because they didn't wanna sit on the bench behind Torres in the pecking order. If your playing to his strengths this is always gonna happen with other strikers.Anelka and Drogba will leave Chelsea in the summer.

When Fernando was new to the league he was unstoppable.Fast, strong, dynamic, hungry for goals...Scoring goals for fun.Defences didn't know how to deal with him.Teams sussed it though and realised stopping the supply to him (usually Gerrard) stopped us from scoring.Unless Torres or Gerrard produced some magic.

That's for Chelsea to figure out now though. For me they've bought themselves a problem.A £50m striker who can only perform up front on his own.Leaving other potential signings thinking....Do i really wanna join Chelsea and sit on the bench all season watching Fernando Torres? bladewave

For me Chelsea won't make the top 4 next season.Think Liverpool,United,City and Arsenal will all finish above them.

The shocking thing about it is that nearly all the abuse came from man utd fans. That is bang out of order, in my opinion. No matter how limited a footballer is, if you support the team he plays for, you should get behind him as best you can & certainly not throw this kind of shit at the guy.

Here is the article....

Poor poor form. Mindless idiotsannoyed

You'd know all about poor form wouldn't you YodaWink!

I loved this article and the one that appeared in today's Mirror. I do feel sorry for Darron Gibson as he's most probably a decent bloke and this must all be very embarrassing for him on a personal level. However, who actually put a gun to his head and forced him to open a Tw@ter account?

He will have done so of his own accord, in an effort to make himself more popular and to enhance his celebrity status etc or whatever all these footballers open Tw@ter accounts for.

I actaually have to suffer watching the likes of him, Jonny Evans, John O'Shit, Michael Carrick, Bebe, Gabriel Obertan etc, none of whom in my opinion are worthy of wearing the shirt. Seeing as many of those who have posted a few honest truths on a public social networking site about the account holder actually contribute to his wages and have the best interests of Manchester United Football Club at heart, I'd say they have every right to express their views on this useless one-trick-pony who has a good long-range shot but next to nothing else in his repertoir.

I don't care for abusing players whilst they're playing in a match as this is counter-productive and affects the team as a whole, but if Darron Gibson, or any other player for that matter, opens up a window of opportunity for fans to communicate with him then he has to be prepared to take the rough with the smooth, doesn't he?

Darron Gibson is shit, full stop, and if
a) it wasn't for the fact it can be construed as a negative United story, and
b) if he wasn't Irish then I doubt you'd have enclosed the mindless idiots quote at the end! It's not like those fans have murdered anyone is it? Now that would've been mindless!

bebe £7m for a player who could have cost nothing is just poor management.

man utd will have to play well to come away with a draw against schalke.

The Narcissist your bitching about going 6 year without a trophy, you should try playing through the history of the Premier League without even a title challenge, yes without, lets be honest even in 01/02 & 08/09 I didn't expcet us to win it I was just happy we weren't gonna finish 18+ points behind for once.

groundnpound the end of your post was what I was trying to say, Torres is shit unless he's on his own & even then he needs a midfielder like Frank Lampard to help him out, but thanks for making my post clear for everyone else to understand.Wink But I do think depending on what Utd do in the transfer market then Liverpool will be joined in the top two by Chelsea???

As for Arsenal needing to get rid of up to ten players, come on kid don't talk wet!!!

A couple of corkers here. "spurs, bolton and everton above chelsea", "bebe £7m for a player who could have cost nothing is just poor management"....[Image: smiley_nope.gif]

another inspired prediction from you there bigguy01 Wink that was just embarrassing from shalke, if it was'nt for neuer (what a fookin' keeper he his by the way) he will be wasted at bayern munich, it would of been very close to double figures it was that easy for united.
