My favourite band has to be Anamanaguchi, I love all their stuff. I also really love the Beatsteaks.

Nirvana. you just cant fault there albums. even songs you dont like become songs you cant live without.
Pink Floyd. yes i know its very old school, but its the music i grew up to.
