It looked for a time that Australia might be chasing considerably less, maybe more like 250 than 300, but Bresnan and Swann came to the rescue and added very useful runs at the end of the innings and bumped Australia's target up a fair bit.

England gambled on an lbw when DRS showed that it had pitched outside leg.They would have liked the vital wicket of Rogers before Lunch.

I am delighted to be wrong .

Having said that I stand by a lot of what I said.
There was a lot of short, wide and legside stuff early on.
Ultimately though another Australia collapse created a 3-0 series score.
Very pleased for England .
