Either way publicity has clearly done some good here. Though not all creators will forgive OF easily it seems.

I bet lots of girls will press on with their new platforms, while keeping their OFs going. They’ll be aware that OF are not to be trusted, and have a backup ready.

To be honest I think they should - showing OF that they are not going to have the piss took out of them - and as you say OF be the back-up platform and not another way around

You would think so. They did say too they "secured assurances necessary" and that they will remain a place for ALL content creators so that would presume it is a cancellation of their plans. Seeing a lot of girls on twitter looking for this clarification too though.

To be fair Onlyfans PR and communications are atrocious, real amateurish stuff, they should probably upgrade that and get in some people who actually know how to communicate properly with subs and content creators.

Oh what a surprise......not. Was expecting this given the backlash OnlyFans was getting when they announced this change.

Agree the OF Communications and PR is atrocious. Have seen numerous babeshow babes complaining about poor communication when they've been dealing with OF over various issues

Yep, they'll go ahead with their new platforms so that they are ready for when OF do bring in this change which I think will go ahead OF are now clearly obsessed with the Celeb dollar, especially after Bella Thorne made them millions after she joined. So even if they don't do it because of the pressure MasterCard and the religious anti porn brigade was putting on OF, they'll do it to get the celebs on board and the money they'll make OF

It's not just the card issuers (Amex, Visa and Mastercard) that are the issue - many payment handlers (the likes of PayPal, WorldPay etc) are also flexing muscles and restricting the types of businesses they are prepared to deal with.

A friend in the UK has a business and he accepts card payment using one of those portable payment machines, and he tells me that the company, which was taken over by PayPal, has issued a new list of the types of companies they will not allow, and it includes companies offering pornographic and sexual services.

Who reached out to who to finally resolve this would be very interesting to know. The banks or OF?
