Voice actor John Cygan, known for his role as Solidus Snake in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, has died. He was 63.

Daily Mail,child groups NSPCC & NAPAC & Esther Rantzen (?) are in uproar & want a ban on Sony exclusive game Detroit;Being Human (releasing in 2018)for featuring a scene that has a father abusing her 10 year old daughter & beating her to death which is shown on a trailer for the game.What the campaigners failed to do is grasp the concept of what the game is about & what it shows in the trailer is that you control an android who has the ability to rewind time whose objective is to save the girl.
The premise of Detroit;Being Human is that whilst it is being described as a Neo-Noir style game by it's makers Quantum Dream (who made games Heavy Rain,Beyond Two Souls & Fahrenheit) you get to control different Androids through a set of different settings where your different actions can alter paths & outcomes.

It kind of reminds me several years ago when notorious MP Keith Vaz (who has a history of employing rent-boys) campaigned for the game Bully (which was later called Canis Cadem Edit) to be banned as it featured elements of bullying at school.As it was the game actually turned out to be pretty good & what clueless Vaz failed to realise was that you played a young teenager who took on the school bullies.

Rumours that Microsoft might buy EA, really hope this isn’t true as that will mean all EA games stay on Microsoft consoles. All tho EA have a habit of fucking up there games this will bad for all gamers.
