I'm finding just the odd thread fairly slow, most of them seem ok.
10am to midday

I regret to say that last night (11.00pm to 12.00am) the Forum was very slow,loading a Page was almost impossible

i found it slow but then again i have a 10mb line and was torrenting at 700+kbps as well.
i stopped the torrent my ping went back to normal and the forum loaded reasonably fast, 1-2 seconds per page.
i think it may have sumthing to do with high pings to the server, because when im torrenting its over 100-300, but when im not its 30 or less.

Well I'm glad the mayhem has died down just a touch. It's always the same, when we get an event like this. And tonight we have had two, one with Sammie's return, and two with Reede Fox's debut on Paradiso.

The numbers online, might not have broken any records, but it makes the forum almost useless to use between 22:00 - 02:00 when it does happen.

This whole forum needs some serious 'slimming' down. A lot of the forums could be deleted or added to other forums and thats the only way this place will be speeded up. Its bad on here speed wise at the best of times but its pretty ridiculous at the moment, 5 minutes to post a message and thats not an exaggeration.

No error messages, but I've been finding quite a few threads very slow to load in the last hour.
It took several minutes to open up a week old thread in the Sexstation section.
Don't know what it will be like later on. I'll be logging out soon.

Edit @ 7.02pm: It took about 15 seconds to upload the above, after hitting the "Post Reply" button.

Well, this forum is horrendous at present for me. 30 minutes it's taken me to get into this section, just to make this post. And over 15 timeouts getting here.

And The Watcher is right, not only about it taking ages to post a new reply. But it took over 45 seconds, before it would initiate one for me.

Again no error's, just taking ages, or timing you out.

I've checked the server logs and they aren't showing any great load on the server at the moment. It's actually fairly low compared to what it can be like. Plus I've just loaded 10 threads for a speed test in an average of 2.89 seconds each. One thread took 5.28 seconds to load, but 3 of them took less than 2 seconds each.

I've been experiencing the hanging of page loading on most forum pages pretty much continuously since Monday, both in Safari and Firefox. For the past few months this page issue has occurred every c.30 days - both TheWatcher and myself have experienced this. Previously, a few days after the page hanging has begun, other forum members have started to report various server & timeout errors in this thread - not sure if this is imminent again.
