RE: Anyone met any of the babes in 'real life'?
I've had a number of lap dances from ex Babe World/Bang Babes Girl Babs when she used to work the Shoreditch circuit. And I've received some intense "happy ending friction" from porn star Rio Mariah when she used to strip.
Quick question for you Bertie:
If you saw this Girl, Gemma Massey out and about, would you chat to her?
I find that she has a certain "eliteness" about her that I find hard to articulate. Every Girl that I have seen on the 900 channels has been accessible (in my mind) for masturbation fantasy, yet when I watch Gemma I can only imagine that the only people that she would get horizontal with have the first name "Sheik", or their employer is called Abramovich.
I felt a little sorry for her when she was on Elite last night, I couldn't help but think that she should be spending Christmas at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai.

RE: Anyone met any of the babes in 'real life'?
Hey Vostok,
You're on the Shoreditch scene huh? That's kind of my stomping ground sometimes too. By the way - I liked your posts on another thread about the business element of this industry...
Good question re Gemma Massey. I'm not really one for rocking up to girls in bars and starting to 'chat them up' - I figure most attractive girls are tired of being hit on, so I tend to just bump into girls like these in random scenarios and strike up conversations (I'm Irish, so I find that somehow helps break the ice - the accent certainly isn't a deterrent!)
Would I chat to her though in the right situation? Sure I would... I suppose it's a confidence thing - I've dated at least one genuinely famous girl, so in my mind it's like if I've been deemed eligible enough to be shagged by a girl who's often been in the public eye, then I can't see why I'd feel in any way inadequate when it came to hanging out with a girl who wasn't. Not that there's any pecking order at all - but you know what I mean. Everyone has different levels of what they consider 'worthy' or 'eligible', and I wouldn't feel, as you perhaps seem to, that I'd fall short of Gemma's...
The only reason I'd possibly refrain from chatting to a girl like her is if I looked at her and caught a whiff that she had certain crap expectations of the man she intended to be with... like you'll see some girls out and about and you just know, from their demeanour and attitude, that they'll only bother talking to a footballer or ex-Reality TV 'star'... You know the sort. Doesn't matter that I have friends who've been on reality shows who haven't got a pot to piss in - the fact is that some girls delude themselves that anyone who isn't a z-lister isn't worthy of their attention. So if I discerned that kind of attitude from them I wouldn't bother my arse even saying hi, cos I wouldn't fancy them anyway for that precise reason...
You raise a good point about her 'eliteness' - I have to say I would agree were it not for her obviously fake boobage. The truly top-notch girls, the ones you'll see on catwalks or the cover of ES magazine, or gracing the yachts in Monte Carlo, rarely have them. A babe channel girl like Chelsea, or even the one who used to be on the shows a lot, Heavenly, would have been more of that 'elite' ilk precisely because theirs was a 100% natural beauty... so I'd say that her eliteness is diluted somewhat for this reason alone; in a way that the Mona Lisa wrapped in a day-glo plastic picture frame would look similarly incongruous...

Thanks for the detailed answer Bertie.
I don't know what it is about Gemma Massey... Maybe an amateur Sigmund Freud could find me the answer...
Thankfully the smoking ban curbed my time (and wonga) spent in Shoreditch strip pubs, however many happy evenings were spent there!

I was dragged into Ye Olde Axe once many years ago when it was still a strip joint (now it's a trendy music venue I think) but I didn't like it... never been in Browns...dunno what others there are.
Thing is, I've never seen the point of going to a strip club or lap dancing venue... Why pay for frustration? Plus I've dated a few dancers and they all said the same thing - that the girls couldn't really stand the guys...
Not for me!

Although Browns and The Axe are 1 minute apart, they are a million miles from each other in terms of quality.

I dig the frustration! However, I often finished my evening off at a "venue" on Bethnal Green Rd that provided relief.
But you are quite correct about many dancers having contempt towards the customers, many dancers that I have spoken too describe their ideal customer as someone who has decent hygiene, doesn't carry the belief that she is dancing for fun and one who has basic respect. Sadly many of the customers lack these merits.
