RE: Forum Move - Accessing non-working pages
This was the thread created nearly a year ago when the forum last moved.
http://www.babeshows.co.uk/showthread.ph...5#pid94975
A lot of people had problems, including myself.
The info in this post and earlier ones may be useful again to others who cannot wait for their ISP to update their name servers or have access problems.
Please note the IP numbers in that post are the old ones.
They need changing to the new ones, 174.123.87.210

RE: Forum Move - Accessing non-working pages
I can't log out properley, everytime I do it says this. This bulletin board is currently closed. The Administrator has specified the reason as to why below.
The UK Babe Channels Forum has moved to a new home and is therefore no longer located at this address. If you have tried to access the forum and are being directed to this page, then instead of entering the forum directly please enter by following the link to the forum from http://www.babechannels.co.uk. Alternatively you may add the forum's new IP address to your hosts file. The new IP is 174.123.87.210
Any help please.

In linux, the file is /etc/hosts
just add to it (using su or sudo) the following line
174.123.87.210 [www.babeshows.co.uk]
and save the file.
The square brackets have to be removed.
I had to use these so the line is displayed correctly in this post.
Without these the line is displayed incorrectly as
174.123.87.210 http://www.babeshows.co.uk.
It will not work with http:// in the line.
It will work immediately when the browser is refreshed.
This is what I have done myself.
For Windows, this is the direct link to the tutorial
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorial...ial51.html
I have never tried changing the host file on a Windows computer myself, so cannot advise any further.
