Probably because it will. This type of approach was taken recently by a teen 'journalist' for some 'Teen Sex' programme that's running at the moment; she went in, with a massive bias, to look at the glamour industries - topless modelling, pole dancing etc. - with the attitude that it was all dirty, forced and none of the girls really wanted to do it. What she actually got from the girls was the complete opposite, despite her attempts with negative and loaded questions.
I very much doubt this will be an objective investigation, there'll be no talk of it being harmless and between consenting adults, no talk of how much the girls enjoy the work they've chosen, no talk of how it's actually the male consumers that are the exploited ones; and no talk of why having sex in your own life is perfectly fine but then somehow it becomes disgusting when filmed. No doubt expect it to lean heavy on the harm it can cause to children, but as always neglect to put up the parents as the ones with the responsibility.
Hopefully I'm wrong and it's fair, but I won't hold my breath.

RE: Jacqui Smith to investigate porn trade on BBC
Yes ofcourse any documentary done by the BBC on porn is allways going to be one sided and what they will try to do as ever will be to take a moralistic point of view on the subject and persist to ram their opinions down the throat of the viewer. Questions such as, we just want to find out exactly what push's these women to degrade themselves in this manner and should the government be doing more to clamp down on the porn industry etc etc. This is bias and is not fair editorial content and just to insult the viewer more at the very end of the programme we will be informed that the opinions expressed does not necessary reflect those of the BBC. My arse it doesn't why the fuck else would you be doing a documentary on the porn industry if it doesn't reflect your views. I mean come on we're hardly going to see the BBC doing a saucy Bravo Tv (what ever happened to that channel) type documentary, are we.

about forced or abused childhood thats more in line with prosituation. you will find many strippers, pole dancers up and down (no pun intended) the country (many other countries) studying at uni. deaumxa 50's, vanessa videl 50's and there others in their 40's and 50's some even in their 60's doing porn. at least its not harriett harman, labours womens and equality minister in the previous government, that would be so one sided. in the "adult industry" its the men that get expolited by the women.
i wonder if jacqui smith got her husband involved, jacqui smith's how not to do a porn vid. i think cwpussylover should phone up and describe what he would do to jacqui smith.
i will be watching mock the week instead of listening to utter baise bullshit from an ex-labour minister who helped themselves to tax payer's money in the expense scandal and also for being part the government that fucked the country in billions of debt.
