football manager 2009

see ive tried that but they always fuck up on the big games and leave u under loads of pressure, i got to b honest, i will lok at forums before i buy the new one, cos i havnt played this one for ages and id sell it on ebay if so many people hadnt tried and failed already

i've stuck with 2006 as every one since them the demos have not impressed me...

i recently tried the fifa manager 2009.. but its a crock... slow sluggish and way ot complicated IMO

Always been a championship manager fan to be honest, just brought FM2009 and took hours till i could finally load it, Only played for couple of hours seems and lost interest, But roll on April CM2009 is then out!!

think i will convert to champ manager aswell, sick of this rubbish now

FM'09 is a joke i just use FM'08 with updated patches cant be assed with all the bullshit that comes with 09

i a shocking move i've just installed dosbox and started playing CM93... nice, plain, simple & easy to use... great memories are coming flooding back

nobody is denying you can win stuff, i won the league and champions league with chelsea, ive won plenty, but i like challenges and you cant try anything ambitious on it because its to hard to get the players to fit the tactics you need to get better, keep players fit etc, the 3d match engine is just fuuuuucking rubbish, the press conferences are pointless, the game is generally awful, its not addictive like the others, the last one i really enjoyed was 07'

In all fairness, to those who are going to move to championship manager, thats getting easier. If you go gung-ho(team tactics) with any team you win more than you lose and generally win a cup/league. Will Hoskins for some reason was immense on the 2007 version.I used to like cm but now its way too easy. FM at least brings alot more realism to the table. Only good thing champ has over football manager is the pro-zone thing andy gray uses
