It wouldn't surprise those of us who went to the same grammar school as him. They might have told us about other famous Old Boys, but the one they told us about the most was ol' Cecil. The stories about Cecil's attraction to Tory ladies are breath-taking. I believe Alistair McAlpine quoted some ladies in Central Office whose view on Sara Keays was "if he'd just told us what he wanted, we'd have been happy to oblige, and a lot more discreet"
