It is a bit sad really, you have the amazing Froch fight last week and now this happens, I love Hatton but as the first poster said, he didn't use his head at all against Pacquiao and there was no way he could deal with the speed. As for Pacquiao against Mayweather, I would stake a months pay on Pacquiao doing him, after the way he fucked Hatton like that I do not see anything that Mayweather has got that would trouble him.

When will Hatton learn that using your head to block punches is ineffective aginst heavy punchers.

Say what you want about Froch but what he done in the last round of that fight was amazing.

Hatton is in decline, partly due to his lifestyle, and coming up against an opponent of that quality was always goig to be an acident waiting to happen.

I don't think you can blame it on tactics. Merryweather says that Hatton didn't follow the fight plan he gave him anyway.

Mayweather is a big step up from Ricky Hatton. Hatton is a great fighter but not in same league as Floyd. The problem for Manny is that he would need to go up again in weight to fight Floyd, who has far superior defence & speed compared to Hatton & Del la Hoya. I think Manny would be going one step too far in facing up against "Money Mayweather".

I paid for the Mayweather Hatton fight but at least that lasted 6/8 rounds (cant remember) lol
Anyway, it looks like Hattons lifestyle has just caught up with him and he shud retire imo
But wud love to see Mayweather v Pac Man, would be pretty decent and i reckon Floyd would win that
