RE: Can you download "Openload" links?
I'm boycotting anything uploaded by any member to openload because as you say it provides nearly three pop-ups, one of which does the virus thing-luckily my Norton 360 Premier software picks it up and warns me. Say NO to openload.

RE: Can you download "Openload" links?
The state of this thread LOL.
There is absolutely nothing dodgy about Openload.
The ads and popups are most likely the same stuff that's been displayed on these not-so-legal sites for years, i.e. 'You're our millionth visitor', or 'Your computer is locked, pay 500 to unlock', and so on. And it has nothing to do with Openload per se.
Jesus, I bet some of you actually respond to Nigerian letters.
You need 3 things to solve all your problems:
1. Firefox browser
2. uBlock Origion extension
3. Video Download Helper extension
That's as elemantary as it gets.

I get what you're saying, and appreciate the info, but they're not a "not-so-legal site".
They're supposed to be a legit file hosting service, yet their quantity and quality of scum-ware far exceeds that of their contemporaries.
That's what's pissing people off.
Plus, I don't need to use extensions with the likes of Depositfiles or Mega ...never had any problems with them.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've an urgent email from the King of Nigeria to reply to.
