I prefer my own version:

"Due to the increasing number of babe channels on Sky and therefore being squeezed by the competition we unfortunately had to axe another channel. We need to keep the Partyland name because it's used for one of the freeview channels, so Sex Station had to be the one to go. However, by switching Partyland to the old Sex Station channel number, it's possible to refer to this change as a merger of the two channels and hope that people swallow the story".

Will there be any "new" girls on freeview Partyland as a result of this "merger"?
