I remember back in the 2006/07 season just after he had a blinding world cup in Germany the manc "fans" were convinced Torres was going to them the following season. They were bursting their holes laughing at Liverpool's interest in him. Then in April 2007,while still at Athletico Madrid, Torres was pictured "accidently" dropping his captains armband revealing the words you'll never walk alone" . And we all know what happened then. The utd "fans" I know were seething and responded in typical fashion by going on the attack. Point i'm making is....if Suarez does indeed end up at LFC i'll enjoy ramming these jibes down their gobs just as much as when Torres signed. Cocky b*****ds!!!

dont remember that mate but if he did have a blinding world cup why wasnt he signed up that summer ? plus id hardly call it a blinding world cup he bagged 3 goals big whoop, but fair play you got his signing and for the 1st two seasons he was quality now look at him, cant wait to get out the door and straight to the tattoo parlour to get a certain tat lazored off.

Let me list the reasons why I think this is Man Utd's last season in the top 4 for a while :
Your "legends" are past it now
The strength in depth you used to have with players is gone
Ferguson isn't far away from retiring
Wayne Rooney is a terrible football player
Berbatov has barely scored 30 goals in 3 seasons
You have no(ZERO) young talent at your club
You have the worst owners in the EPL (taking over from Gillett/Hicks)
I could go on....

As for Liverpool we've had some terrible owners recently who didn't feel the need to invest wisely in talent for the future of our club, now that we have a manager who can connect with the fans & leader's of the club our chances of hitting form are much higher. We have money and are not just spending it, instead waiting on the right talent to become available (eg. Suarez). We have always had a team capable of winning the league, just haven't had the right manager... it happens. Watch this space!
