Star Trek: Picard S02E08 "Mercy"

Could almost call this First First Contact lol. It's looking like Rios has picked a hell of a time to have house guests. Setting up a potentially thrilling final couple of episodes.

Ep 8 Mercy Season 2

Another great Ep not interesting with story developments but with character development too. We finally found out what’s going on with Q and brilliant acted by John de Lancie. We get further development with Guinan which was very interesting. The Soong‘s especially Adam always seem to have dodgy side to them now with his new partner in crime.
With the Rio’s side of things am in two minds in one part it’s interesting but on the hand his breaking the timelines remember in the beginning it was about butterfly effect now with most of characters it’s gone out the window now and kid is bloody annoying lol. It’s gonna two ways with him does he take them with similar to Star Trek 4 or do they do the opposite and he stays. I like the use of Star Trek First Contact theme around the Borg Queen. Overall this season is a massive improvement over season 1 by a mile but the only minor nitpicks I have is I feel like at it’s been stretched to fit 10 Eps so I get this feeling everything is gonna crammed into the final couple eps all tho I think there’s gonna be a cliffhanger for season 3, it’s little too much like Star Trek 4 and you can tell somethings have been done for budget reasons but then it’s been a thing for Star Trek.
The FBI guy actor has been in Star Trek before in Voyager in Ep 24 “Relativity” Season 5 He played Lt. Ducane aboard the time ship Relativity.
