You're bang on about the porn biz here, HP. Everything is home made and so cheap now. The industry is thriving in the U.S. and on the continent, but here it's a joke.

The current state of the UK porn industry is awful.

Killergram and Bluebird used to make top notch stuff with tons of babes from the channels.

I guess the availability of it all for free on the internet was the nail in the coffin for them.

Gemma Massey, Lilly Badcock, Delta White, Jennifer Keelings and Paige Turnah were so good.

The Snookered default nightshow position is one of resignation, despair and condemnation.
But you all knew that already didn't you .
To be honest I am bored to tears at myself bleating on in relentless cynical negativity like a Demon of Doom .

Babestation has seemingly gone down the energy and zest road. I am not going to comment on the results of that approach but they have chosen a path.

So S66 has an opportunity to choose a path that is different to the Babestation one
So what can I suggest to S66 in all good faith?
The core strength of the old Elite TV and the best of the Studio 66 rebrand to my mind was intimacy and eroticism. For me S66 needs to reinvigorate some of this feeling.
It enabled Caty Cole to thrill like no other back in time. The pocket rocket with steaminess and sexual tension oozing out of every pore on virtually every set.
Sophia Knight, queen of the outfit and outfit play, teasing and titilating with butter wouldn't melt facial expression allied to body language that just oozed sex.
Lilly Roma - setting a benchmark for standing oiled up nudity with subtle, fluid movement and great use of hands.
And of course the Queen of Eroticism Clare Richards who in times past made squeezing every ounce of jaw dropping sexual tension, body language and facial expression into her own art form.
All four of these became winners of Ultimate Babe with compelling cases to win looking back in hindsight imo. Yes, yes I know, I know. Ultimate Babe may well be deemed with varying levels of significance and credibility by different folk but nonetheless these four at their very best were stellar performers imo.

I look back at the enigma that is Mica Martinez who at her mean and moody, sultry, sensual best was every bit an enticing visual delight especially in the more intimate sets and when using oil. Adele Taylor who was the graceful seductress, Danica Thrall who captured imagination like almost nobody else seemed capable.
The whole feel of stints from all of these babes and more back in time was more alluring, enticing but above all intimate.
That intimacy could emerge from a style of set or from lighting or from body language or camerawork or a combination of these.
It is a lot harder to generate that feeling and stir senses for me at least when everything seems so regimented and orthodox as it is now.
There seems no willingness to think outside the box and really try to stir some sexual tension. Of course it may just be that nobody cares and are only concerned about making as much money as possible while putting in as little effort as possible . The temptation to believe this across all channels is overwhelming but especially so at S66 imo .
But I don't want to feel this way . It saddens me .
Where has all the magic gone?
S66 can present an alternative to the likes of Atlanta Moreno and one that is just as appealing in a different way. Slow, sensual, erotic, almost peer through a keyhole type feel to things (not literally of course ) you know what I mean though .
I believe this channel particularly in it's former guise had this core strength.
I just wonder if it can ever recapture some of the old magic.
I live in hope, maybe foolishly but I do anyway .

Nothing says a channel is thriving like bringing back two 40-something pornstars (YET AGAIN) and acting like it's some sort of a coup. Can they REALLY not find ANYONE else to be on their night shows?

As for the age of women on s66 cougars, a cougar for me is an older woman who only goes out with/sleeps with/dates men or women who are younger than them. So what age would you say defines a woman as an older woman, thirties, forties or 50+. For me 50+, less than that is young for a woman these days

You repeatedly say that pornstars will 'bring in money' but you have zero proof of that. It might be a fair assumption but you don't know the actual numbers. A face you've never seen before on the channels is surely just as likely to entice callers as people will be curious to see what she's like.

So, if you're being so pedantic as to say a cougar is simply a woman that fucks younger guys, by that rationale a 19 year old 'babe' could be on the cougar channel if her bloke is 18. Don't be so daft.

It's obvious that Michelle & (no doubt) Linsey don't like being described as cougars as it implies age. But having 20-something Sophie on that channel instead is just ridiculous.

i was just happy to see to different girls last night and to be fair they both did good shows,
but it just shows the biggest problem at 66 in that there are no space for new girls to get shows there,
since snookered won his fight to get rid of DBS shows seriously thought they just book 2 girls most nights which means they only really have 56 shows a month to fill and as most of the girls who have been there a long time are on a guaranteed 2-3 shows a week there is no chance for new girls there,
new girls just will not sign for them as they know they will not get a chance, add the fact they are refusing to let night girls have day shows then there is even less chance of a new girl getting the shows she needs to get a following,
from what i hear the new girls who started at the start of the year are all just cover again this month with no booked shows,
66 is stuck in a rut losing callers to bs as people are so board with the same girls every night, but it will not change until the management dose as they have made a nice little club for the old guard girls who have worked for them for years,
they need to go back to 3 girls a night as i cant see them cutting any shows from the old guard,
when you hear about girls like Hannah Martin getting far less minuets than a new girl yet Hannah gets another shows the next week but the new girl gets nothing you know its not fair there for new girls, so i would say to any newbie sign for bs or xp and have a fair chance at starting on the shows,
