mate there is a model on there i used to visit regularly she was charging like 400 for topless etc. but a new guy came a long and started tipping big, overnight the topless price went to 2000... funny that. but yeah some guys have more money than sense and are also being controlled by some of these models. i don't think mfc has too much to worry about. Plenty of other cam sites have appeared in recent years, and still mfc thrives. The token rate that mfc pays the girls is actually quite good compared to some of the other sites.

As stated, adultwork has no preview like mfc, so it relies on two things, either the feedback, or the girls having a ready made audience. I know of a few girls working almost exclusively on adultwork, and it's the feedback that gets them where they are, but they really have to work hard for that feedback. It's not like mfc where you can jump on for a bit at random times whenever you don't have something better to do, they work at it like a 'normal' job, putting in the hours, building up both a repeat audience, and also good feedback.

We all know that the bulk of the babeshow type girls are damn lazy when it comes to camming, expecting guys to throw tokens at them for nothing. On mfc, that kind of laziness can still generate some income, random guys wander in the room, throw a few tokens in the hat in expectation, throw in the odd group or private, and it soon builds up.
In adultwork, at the beginning, the girls will have that audience of fans from the channels who will follow them there, but that audience is pretty small and limited and will soon diminish. In the long run, they need more guys, guys who perhaps don't know them from the channels, and are a bit more discerning about where they throw their hard earned. To get those guys spending, they will need to deliver the goods at a reasonable rate and generate good feedback to encourage more guys to take a chance on them. For most of these girls, that is probably too much like hard work, and in the long run, the punters will dry up, and the rates will drop as they get more desparate.

So I think to make adultwork really pay in the long run, the girls really have to work at it, same as the best earners on mfc do. That will work for some girls, who have the right attitude, and treat it like a regular job, working at regular times, and being reliable, but probably won't work in the long term for the bulk of the babeshow girls who seem to view camming as easy money when they don't have anything better to do.

I've never been on Adultwork, as far as I know like Munch said there's no freeview on it. I think MFC will always be somewhat of a leading light on this kind of stuff. Some of the eastern Europeans are run by studios i.e. criminal networks so there will always be a never ending line of willing young women cuming along, it's almost the new porn industry in that sense.

Well, tokens cost 8-10 cents each, depending how many you buy (maybe less if you buy even bigger quantities).
The model gets about 5 cents per token regardless (apparently).

So, working that out 50000 x $0.05 = $2500

Not bad for a monthly pay cheque, but bear in mind, they then have to set aside tax etc so actual 'take home' pay will be less.

5000 is quite high for a cum show count, only the top models can usually get away with that, I've even seen some with counts like that just to get the bra off, then again for panties, THEN the cum show count.
Most models set a lower, less intimidating total, and use other tricks to pull in more tokens, like tips to control the cum show, or clear the board type games etc. A good model will usually pull more tips just as a reward for a good show than from the actual count itself, hence why public shows can be more profitable than groups and most of the top MissMFC finishers get there on public shows, not by doing groups and privates.
I've seen the likes of Aspen Rae do 3 cumshows in a row with large counts like that, and pull the same or more after each show in 'thank-you' tips. It's all about the marketing
