Hey there Smc, i asked one of the floor managers about this. Apparently your mobile number is being connected to a system so you can get a thanks message from the show you called. He didn't seem to think you would be charged for this though. I will ask the guy who deals with the phone system when i see him next on your behalf.

Just want to get this rant off my chest.

When I used to regularly text these shows, I would receive promotional texts from Babestation shilling the girls websites/pictures. You know the ones, I would receive a text from 'Camilla' saying she has brand new pics of her pussy, and if I want to see those pics reply at a cost of £3.00 a pic. I had no problem with this as I was expecting it to be honest. I very rarely get these nowadays (probably due to the fact that I no longer text the show), but occasionally get the odd one from the BS number, and it doesn't bother me.

What does bother me is these fucking texts I constantly receive (about 2 a week) from number +447818696079. These cunts constantly send messages about 'Porn sluts gagging 4 action. V horny and up for n e thing. 09824461008 or watch live on sslive.tv'. No I have no idea who these wankers are but I wish they would stop texting me. I am guessing that I have to send 'Stop' to some number to get these to end, but I don't want to be charged £1.50 for that. So any BS Mods care to enlighten me on this?

By the way, muffins was not the word I used.

I'm sure MS can't do anything about it but I can't be the only person that the only reason I will not call or text the show is because I don't want badgering with spam on my phone
(I have considered getting a pay as you go sim)
but really why should I have to?

Please, somebody, anybody, at Cellcast - ffs get rid of that 4:3 camera. It must be the same camera every time 'cos it's not just the wrong aspect ratio giving a horrendously distorted image, it also gives a horrible washed-out colour rendition. It was used on BS1 last night and the night before (ruined the birthday celebration set) and is being used on BS2 tonight *. It isn't used as the main camera but seems to be used to give occasional different angles.

Take a sledgehammer to it, drop it off the roof, chuck it in front of a train or under a passing tank, but ffs kill the bastard!

Not to be pedantic ModSta, but why would 'you' (as in Cellcast) send us a thank you text? This £2 'connection fee' mallarky is a pile of bullshit, in my opinion. Im with SMC on this one. (Again, with all respect, and nothing against you personally ModSta)

this seems to happen quite a lot on BSX could the Mic receivers be put somewhere more visible so the staff can see when the batteries go flat they look like seniser mics which receivers light up red when lose connection ie if the batteries go flat

These unrequested billing messages seem to be all that's keeping some of these channels afloat...! I had to cancel my last number to stop them charging me whenever they felt like. someone should really do something about this crap! Anybody see the mirror article last week ? sounds familiar??? I'd like to see another £250,000 fine for this shit.

I called BS2 last night and whilst on the phone I noticed I had received a text message. When I hung up I read it, it was from the 89530 number saying 'Thanks for your call, continue watching Babestation2! You have been charged £2'! Thought this was a bit dodgy, but then I read the scrolling T&C's on the bottom of the screen. It now says calls to the mobile number cost £1.50p/m+£2.00 connection charge.
I checked the other Cellcast channels and they all have connection charges of £1.50. How long has this been the case? I haven't called for a while, but hadn't noticed the connection charge on screen before yesterday. Sorry if this is old news, but couldn't find any posts on it.

I have not been been texted or charged since i moaned about it!! RESULT

If anyone has a any advice for this please tell me as im suffering from the same thing.
Im getting too many txts like the one below. I replied STOP to the number but nothing has happened.
What do i have to do? Who do i contact?
