the premier league have droped the weakend team rule however a manager cannot select a number of u21 players outside the 25 man squad. holloway should have not been fined last season for making 10 changes to his lineup for the aston villa game.

I think gaz has a point here. I don't see why this thread has to get taken over by a drawn-out argument about Liverpool when there's a thread called "Liverpool FC" on here. It's bad enough during the season when the Man United lot are about, without it carrying on now as well.
I should add that this is nothing personal against the Liverpool fans who post here, as you're all good guys who care about your team. But it does get tedious at times having to trawl through pages of an argument between two or three people when there's a more appropriate place for it.

The thread is called " football BANTER " you bore, don't like don't read it simple, just because a miserable git doesn't like what's said in here doesn't mean we have to only have sensible discussions all the time it's just a laugh in here that's all none of it's malicious.

Point taken gazfc & eagle_si but this is the reason I started this thread, so fans of any & every team could have a bit of harmless banter. Most of you don't post in here much anyway it's only become active in the off season since iamthatjack popped up to add a bit of spice to a discission. I'd be quite happy to confined it to the LFC thread but when it starts in here then this is where the reply posts are gonna be.

I see where your coming from though as there are people on here who ofte... Very often post totally pointless shit & two that on occasions have just had a normal conversation between themselves at one point spanning two pages & yes it can get on your tits but like I said this is exactly what it says on the tin, a football banter thread!!!

Where is this Hull place anyway, is it in Norway.

The banter, however themed, should be allowed to remain in the football banter thread. I do however take the point about there being a seperate Liverpool FC thread.

But the fact is that the banter will always continue into this thread, because of the very nature of the thread. We'll leave the pundits on screen to do the proper footy talk, and we'll have our own version here.

I'm sure we're all good guys who can take a laugh and a joke about the beautiful game - heck, I have to take a laugh every time - simply because of the team I support...

I think the problem here is that this thread started off as a "banter" thread, but has since become a general one where anything and everything football-related is discussed. In fact, the banter posts seem to be in a minority.

I do find it funny though how some people join a "babeshow" forum, then proceed to post predominantly in the football section. It's giving the impression that they prefer men in shorts to women in underwear
