I don't understand, how can he have a medical when the January transfer window hasn't even begun?

Do you know how much Liverpool are paying for him?

If Sturridge does go to Liverpool and its looking likely, I guess that means the alleged interest from Liverpool in Walcott will stop now.

A good signing for Liverpool if they do get Sturridge. He does tend to be a selfish player, but I'm sure Rodgers will coach that out of him. During his successful period during his Bolton era and Villas Boas era at Chelsea, he played really well and was scoring goals left, right and centre, so if he recaptures that sort of form, he will be a good signing for Liverpool.
