So where do Labour go next.

They need to look to the next generation and drop those who are associated with Gordon Brown and his administration.

RE: General Election Vote
Even though the Tories win, it looks a very small majority for the next Government but I still think he will need to find support to prop that majority up.

RE: General Election Vote
Surprised by the results, genuinely seismic in Scotland and elsewhere.

Quite. Post-New-Labour. They picked the wrong leader last time. They may be up against Boris in 2020.

Is that the first bit of good news for Cameron after winning?

RE: General Election Vote
Have UKIP started calling for electoral reform yet? They got more votes than the SNP who got 55 or 56 seats. I'm not a UKIP supporter by the way, but just saying that this looks like the oddest general election result ever.

RE: General Election Vote
Wow! What a night!

Miliband is toast Smile
My vote actually counted Surprised
The Torys have equalled the number of Labour seats in Scotland shockedHuhBounce

Mixed feelings about the SNP landslide. It's good Scotland has a strong voice at Westminster but, personally, I don't think it's right that one party could hold every seat, as they could easily have done. 100,000's of Scots who voted Labour, Tory or Lib-dem came close to having absolutely no representation at Westminster. This surely has to mean some kind of electoral reform. The downside to some form of PR would mean more UKIP MPs, but maybe that's the price we have to pay for true democracy?

Interesting times ahead, though Important
