The videos are made up for 5 minute clips stitched together after filtering out most of the perv cam stuff. Encoding them into a single video in code can go wrong and leave bits of data out. Chrome seems not to care but Firefox does. I plan to fix them eventually but for the time being use chrome.

Looks like some of the vids are encoded in H.265 (HEVC) and Firefox natively doesn't support HEVC hardware decoding, like Chrome etc. Thinks it's Mozilla sticking to its guns on open formats whereas HEVC is proprietary.

But you can enable it in about:config, search for and change media.wmf.hevc.enabled to 1. Seems to work. It's a great browser with good user protection options, but does have it quirks and principles.

Yeah im encoding the latest set of recordings from AWS and its playing ok using 264 so I will get round to redoing the others that are 265

Everything should be working again as a network card was replaced by the server provider. Only cached videos will have been playing. I dont know how long it was down for.

Ive got file uploads working so it should be available to use in a few days time
