Man of Steel 9/10 Great action movie from Zack Snyder. Henry Cavill makes a good Superman. Chris Nolan on shared script writing duties ensures there is a slightly darker edge than previously seen.

Warrior - 8/10 - Brilliant drama, dare I say MMA has its Rocky? The fight scenes were extremely well shot

Oblivion - 7/10 - Little slow getting going but decent enough, looked great

Red Dawn (2012 version) - 5/10 - Low rent action film. Only ever seen the original once so can't compare but taking in to account some big budget rubbish I've seen lately I enjoyed this

Jack Reacher - 3/10 - Didn't like this, complete non-event. Gets a extra point for Rosamund Pike looking booby in a couple of scenes lol!

Heat 10/10. One of my top 20 movies with De Niro giving his best ever performance in this movie for me. The shoot out at the bank still has raw power. A classic

Carrie (2013) really good remake/re-imagining of the classic horror film of the same name from 1976. Chloe Grace Moretz is brilliant as Carrie White and Julianne Moore is very good as Carrie's crazy mum.
