The England batsmen look scared of the bowling.
Johnson is terrifying the life out of them .

This is just feeble batting.

England self destructed when they got to Nelson (111) they went from 111-3 to 160-9.
So it's up to Monty now to save England

It was actually 135/9, so England lost 6 for 24.

Panesar lasted 35 balls, the 4th longest by an England batsman in this innings, and after a last wicket stand of 37 England are 172 all out.

Two years ago we were hailed as a greet team that could dominate like Australia did. I definitely do think that the deciding factor between the two teams this series definitely has been Mitchell Johnson. His ability to use sheer pace to dominate is frightening and I am afraid to say that I believe the Ashes are all but gone. to come back from 2-0 down would be mission impossible for this team, I find it disappointing that Cook has given his wicket away again so cheaply. Whatever the changes will be for the Third Test will probably do little to stop the whitewash this series is slowly becoming.

Monty actually batted quite well for a number 11 in that first innings in the face of endless short pitch bowling.
And then Johnson came back .

Two hat-trick chances to the same bowler in one Test innings.
And England's fourth highest run-scorer was X.Tras.

That late night drinking session doesn't look so clever now.

I'm just speechless

It's England's top players who are letting them down. Their strengths are starting to be their weakness

Swan and Anderson aren't making the impact from past series.
The experienced babesmen are badly misfiring. The late order babesmen instead of waging their tail are being blown away.
Pietersen needs to engage brain as he keeps falling for the Aussie leg trap
Even the best fielder (Carberry) dropped an absolute dolly catch.

The only batting of note was by Carberry & Bell. At least Monty showed some balls bottle by taking a lot of short stuff on the body whilst Bell was able to add to the scoring.
