Filth - 7/10 - Another Irvine Welsh adaption, not read the original book but thought this was off its head and quite brilliant

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey 3D - Extended Edition, really enjoyed the extended cut of the film which actually helped to flesh out the story a little more, a little trivia on the film, Azog the Defiler was played by actor Manu Bennett aka Slade Wilson in the tv series Arrow, 9.1/10.

Yeah that really surprised me, my little brother told me that, he knows him from Arrow(loves his superheroes) But I knew him from Spartacus as Crixus, liked Manu as Crixus.

Last film I watched was Rush, it was excellent. Really surprised Bruhl wasn't nominated on the back of that performance.

Predator. 9/10 Classic Arnie movie that I have not seen for a few years. Always enjoyable and still the best of the franchise.

The Passion Of Christ

A strange movie for me to watch,but having started I couldn't stop watching.
Brutal viewing but definitely captivating IMO.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy . 8/10

Wordy and moody and requiring concentration. Different from the old 1980s TV version in subtle respects, works quite well.
Gary Oldman's good. In fact good cast all round - John Hurt, Mark Strong, Colin Firth etc.

Benedict Cumberbatch's hairstyle is hilarious. Not looking so cool now are we Sherlock ?

Master of suspense and Anthony Hopkins does a great portrayal.
