RE: Last film you watched
Company Of Heroes - 5/10 - Low budget WW2 action film about a cut off squad of US soldiers discovering a plot by the Nazi's to unleash a rather nasty new missile they've been developing during the last days of the war. Not bad given the budget, did feel like all the props and wardrobe were borrowed from Band Of Brothers and it features Tom Sizemore and Vinnie Jones but it wasn't half bad

W. - 7/10 - The life and times of George W. Bush as told by Oliver Stone. Not as much of a hatchet job as I thought it would be, the scene's where he's president were the best (especially his cabinet meetings), I just found myself wondering how much of the early personal life stuff was just Stones wishful thinking.

Its the same with Licence To Kill back in the day a lot of people never liked it because it was lot more violent and hard edged which is how Bond really was in the books and thats how Dalton played the role. Now the Bond films under Daniel Craig are lot like that film now it was why ahead of its time.

^^ Yes. Timothy Dalton played Bond the way I feel it should be. According to the books Bond was a brutal killer. Probably what a spy, an assassin, a trained agent should be. The grittiness that Dalton brought to his two films were right for me and I've always said I wished he'd done more. That was out of his control really with all the problems at the time, but his two films were better than the comedy rubbish that Roger Moore did and better than the sometimes wooden Daniel Craig performances we see today.

Non Stop 7/10 latest action movie from Liam Neeson, a bit far fetched and not in the same league as Taken but worth a watch all the same.

Need For Speed which is based on the very successful need for speed video games.

It's basically fast and furious with Hypercars and Supercars and the action sequences and stunts are fantastic and were done with no cgi. The final race is a Hypercar wet dream with a mclaren p1, Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Siesto Elemento and a koenigsegg super aero all in it. There isn't much of a plot but that is not what this film is about and is very entertaining

i won't be seeing it myself unless it shows up sky, sticking to the fast and furious films. Video game to films are never that good.
