You are quite wrong. There still adult magazines around. My local newsagent has plenty (including Sixty6 as it happens).

^^
s66 is not an "adult mag" s66 is an upmarket lads mag and the lads mag market as a whole has been dead for some time now

No it isn't. It's nothing like a lad's mag.

RE: Sixty6 Magazine
The Sun newspaper has referred to it as a lad's mag, so Rammyrascal has some support at least (if you regard the opinion of The Sun as notable). However, the subtitle of the Sixty6 magazine is "Entertainment For Men" which doesn't sound like it's being published as a lad's mag. What's more I saw it in my local newsagent next to the Mayfair magazine which says exactly the same thing on its cover, "Entertainment For Men".

I wasn't talking the porno market natch. I used the word tittilation quite deliberately. Just because newsagents can't tell the difference doesn't make it porn. You ask the babes in it if it's porn.

It's a supposedly upmarket coffee table pictorial mag with lads' mag level content.

Babeshow n. - Live Adult Entertainment genre based around premium-rate phome sex chat lines. Scantily-clad female presenter induces callers and users to other inactive services from three-walled set in a TV studio. Largely softcore Tease format influenced by standards and strictures of free-to-air TV platform..

Ok, it's not a lads mag, it's a mag for lads Rolleyes

I mean, who honestly bought Nuts for all the other shit that was in it? Over a pair of tits? Rolleyes

Yeah it was handy for not looking like a total perv whilst reading it at work, but other than that.....

Same shit diffrent coat.

If the opinion of the babes in it is considered to be relevant, then it's worth mentioning that a couple of them have told me that S66 are entirely serious about this magazine and have been successful with it so far. It's intended to be profitable enterprise and up to this point it is profitable.

RE: Sixty6 Magazine
Any takers on who has bought a copy yet ???,what I wanted to know is the level the photography is shot at;topless, implied nudity, full frontal or even open-leg (I doubt it).I notice that Demi Rose,Bianca Gascoigne,Jessica Shears (Love Island) has featured in the magazine but judging by the papers it seems only Jessica shot topless & also implied nudity (& looked gorgeous).Just of note S66 do have models that shoot open-leg levels in other jazz mags ie Cara Brett (I'd probably buy it if Cara was a regular in it), Lucy Zara,Lindsey Dawn, Stella Cox etc.

I used to buy the lads mags Nuts & Zoo back in the day & they were only a couple of quid this Sixty6 magazine is about £8 so I'd expect a little more bang for my buck & would be a little bit pissed if it was nothing more than implied nudity like the lads mags.

RE: Sixty6 Magazine
I've only seen a handful of pics from the magazine, so I don't really know much about the content, but so far I haven't seen anything which goes beyond this.

How would the girls know if it's profitable? Do footballers understand the cash flow or margins at a club? No of course they don't, so let's didmiss the opinions of the girlsWink

Secondly, a new magazine is highly unlikely to hit break even for a number of years. It may be running in line with projected revenue or margin but will be making an operational loss at this early stage. Question is whether it's making close to its forecast; soon as it drops off the investors will get twitchy pretty quick.

Personally I still think it's the dumbest business investment imaginable
