LEXICON a word game which we used to love playing.

The Guinness game, now I thought this was a limited edition version-i.e. only a few were released so no idea where this person got hold of it, but we had one of the very first prototypes.

I remember this ad...wave of nostalgia hit me while watching it! How many celebs can you identify from this Woolworths Christmas ad from 1978? And check out the prices!!!

AW gawd that was terrible! However apart from that woman I can name them all(oh and the chap with the teeth at the organ)
Jimmy Young, Pat Coombes, David Jacobs, Pete Murray, Windsor Davies, Henry Cooper, Barry Sheene, Nicholas Parsons, ?, Anita Harris, Harry Worth, ? Tim Brooke-Taylor, Sterling Moss(I had that Powertrack we were too poor to afford Scalextric), Tony Blackburn, Leslie Crowther. Thankfully they changed the music(which was diabolical) and then it was worth watching each Christmas.

First ask yourself how many of these you remember...then ask yourself how many of them would be screened in these sanitised overly PC times we now live?

(I remember ALL those even the last one with Sharon Duce and her 'husband' and the campaign. You're right a lot of these wouldn't get past the censor, even that Smarties one-brought back a few memories though-even old Sasch Distellery! )

Love that babe with the big hair in the Levi Strauss ad. Fit as.... looked a lot like my first girlfriend.
