Yep. The figures will do their weekly spike tomorrow given yesterday was a bank holiday. Interesting to see how far they’ll jump up

I saw the headlines that there was an outbreak of rhinovirus.

It turns out that it's nothing to do with covid 19 it's just another name for the common cold.
Supposedly because the kid are catching it at schools now they are back.

Great news for you folks desperate to go on holiday! From 17th May you will allowed to go to South Georgia. The slight difficulty is it is only accessible by sea and has no on shore accommodation. Have fun and do send a postcard

Are we talking Falklanda Islands??? If so, we would have to hope the Argentinians don't invade again!! so probably packing a AK-47 would be an essential...

I see Turkey is on the red list. Luckily I bought Pork for Sunday lunch this week.

Turkey being on the red list has stopped the trend of people flying back from India and Pakistan.

When flying back from India and Pakistan they would have a 10 day holiday in Turkey for about £450. And then they would arrive back in England and just self isolate for 10 days (because Turkey was on the orange list). Thus avoiding the £1,500 quantine hotel costs.

Perfectly legal, but now stopped.

Figures have gradually been reducing over the past months.

The trends in deaths and hospital admissions are down to near pre covids levels. Although the cases are still high.

Today could be the first time in a year where we don't record any deaths.
Yes they will be weekend figures, but we can hope.

I wonder how long we would have to record consecutive days of no deaths to be really hope to be on the road to something like normality
