Elite TV/Studio66 Daytime - Discussion Thread

Studio66 seem to be following a policy of signing semi famous celebrilties.

First they got Sophie Reade and now Chloe Ayling. What's the chances of them getting a lovely in Megan Barton Hanson. They may have to wait until her latest series of cosmetic surgery settles down. Her fans are a little alarmed by her fat lips.

I've not been happy with Studio66's lighting recently, it's far too dark (it reminds me of the lighting in developing rooms)

And this morning things have got worse.
They have two gorgeous looking babes in Alexis and Louisa, both of whom seem to favour the satsuma look.

Babes good, set's OK, lighting terrible

^ they do struggle to get it right. Too bright is just as bad of course, bleaches out contours, obscures curves and pokies and causes glare.

Anyone in film or photography will tell you lighting is everything!

I can't believe no one has commented on the remarkable end to yesterday's day shows... So, I guess I'll have to have a go!

It is good to see 66 continue to try to expand what they are doing, and to strengthen where they can. They need to spring back from the horrible PR debacle of the recent OF saga. Last night suggested another avenue of such attention.

Both Macy and Heather put some effort into breaking new ground as they emulated Eve's post 9pm tease-lite sessions. For a gloriously short time, it even felt like watching the day shows of old with so much ass and panty on show... and not knowing who to stick with for the best!

I know other babes have tried similar sessions sporadically over the past year or so at 66 but two babes doing it at the same time, with evidence of behind the scenes consultation and the unusual presence of a main feed operator at that time of the day, illustrated a level of intent that has been lacking previously I thought.

That neither babe could quite manage to follow through on their convictions for the whole hour was not really their fault either IMO. It was a quiet evening on the phones by the looks and they were undone by this I thought. Nor were they aided by 66's lack of promotion of what they were doing or the typically half-hearted commitment to the physical backing of it in the presentation. (An attentive camera throughout would have helped sell the innovation with more consistency, as a good impetus was added from Heather's camera guy in the early stages.)

In fact I have only praise for the babes. It was particularly amazing to see Heather's enthusiasm for the concept (full on posing and upskirt gyrations while on her knees, plus the hiking her dress above her navel on a couple of occassions). However, after a time, the right type caller back up was not there to sustain her it seems and the segment frittered out half way through (after her attendant left to do his nighttime set up duties presumably). Likewise on the other stream there was only a smattering of juicy calls on offer for Macy who looked if anything slightly perturbed by the relative lack of attention. 

Everyone that interacted got what they were looking for I have no doubt. Only the spice of the crowd was missing.

I hope to god everyone at 66 doesn't lose the will for these new stronger visuals immediately post watershed. There has been little recognition of this change on the forum, particularly away from Eve's thread, and I feel many guys are not au fait with it as yet or expectant of it as a regular occurence. When they are I'm sure the sessions will catch fire - as Eve's did. We just need persistence and time put into the idea for the word to spread.

Away from here, ShandyHand posed me the question: What do other babes have to do or have in order to make their 9 to 10 teases a success like Eve's?

The key to answering this question is first to identify the reasons why Evelyn has been so successful at it. Here are those key factors:

1. She is exceptionally attractive and this means there is an audience that will happily pay to see more of her
2. She is exceptionally good at teasing and this means there is an audience that will happily pay for it.
3. She paces her shows perfectly and there is then no premature peaks and subsequent lulls in any given show
4. She’s unwaveringly show and audience-focussed and utterly professional: never distracted by her mobile, never engages in chats with the production staff on camera etc. unless it is immediately caller related or technically necessary for the show
5. She has the knack of all great media and stage performers in being able to make the viewer feel as if he’s the only one in the audience and that she’s looking at and communicating directly to him through the camera lens.

In my judgement, in order for the others to make a similar success of intra-dayshow 2100-2200 teases, they need to meet the above standards. Failure to emulate Evelyn’s success essentially means that they have fallen short in one or more of those standards.

Now factor 1. is the rarest one and is a largely a fixed, static thing - you are either born with exceptional attractiveness or not. Sure, some judicious gym work or slimming (and perhaps surgery) can help maximise what your genetic code gave you, but the je ne sais quoi quality that the most attractive people possess is ethereal and cannot be manufactured.

To a greater or lesser extent factors 2-5 can be learned and trained, but a baseline of natural talent, ability and charisma is required.

^ Of the several 66 babes that have attempted to establish themselves in this new arena blazed by Eve, Heather K currently comes closest to recreating her success IMO. For that reason I will use her as my example here. I can't better Rake's description of the specifics involved so will instead speak to the general factors I think are needed for a babe to really pull a good reputation for tease together.

Of course the extended tease scheduled for H this year is her chance to get everyone's Christmas off with a bang. With sessions like this a babe can really prove her ability to draw the right type of crowd, and hold them successfully, over a extended period. 

This is where tease shows should differ from a day babe's regular TV work; to maximise their effectiveness a babe has to show a commitment, consistency and focus to a varied visual performance of the sort Rake has outlined so excellently above. (If ever there was a babe with huge potential for this but is often too easily distracted onscreen, H is it.)

An exhibition of this sort of attention to and enthusiam for her task and a one-off session can become about so much more than its time onscreen; good shows of this sort spread an essential positive word of mouth for both babe and the tease concept itself. A hallmark holiday session with genuine strong 'playbackability' (that can negate somewhat even the most unsocialble hour) is a prime way to engender the sort faith in a girl's skills - the sort of thing that can serve H so well in her attempts to join the true elite babes at 66 going forward.

Specifically, it is Heather's chance to not only grow her cam base (visuals are forgrounded there to of course) but also, more to the point of my original question to Rake, to convince guys that she really has what it takes to work them of their money on those fledgling 9 to 10pm tease segments on TV. 

There is no doubt Heather has the raw ability to turn all these segments into must see events - ones that guys can actually make plans to tune in for, and are given the confidence to contribute to, on a regular basis in the future. For this to happen though punters have to know that they are going to enjoy the whole ride (whether it be over an hour, two or whatever) and, more fundamentally, that they are going to enjoy it even more if THEY are the ones helping it reach higher heights! A babe must look to inspire as dependable for repeat tippability and combined TV-perv use.

This can be the difference between a girl getting the odd call or cammer and then one or two more 5 minutes later, and her coining a crowd across the full segment. It's how reputations are formed and exploited...

There's already plenty of changes to the shows occuring atm. H in particuar has been given the opportunity to be amongst the vanguard of babes taking the shows even further into the new era at 66. Now she just has to take it.

Some presenters will have the type of look that will appeal to almost everyone (e.g. blonde).

Whilst some hosts will have a look that only appeals to a niche market (e.g. tattoos).

The channels should do everything in their power to focus on making their presenters great performers.

Rake's points 2-5 about Evelyn should be the bare minimum for every day and night time host on all channels.
