But perhaps Gasquet was knocked out by the soon-to-be 2016 French Open champion. So it isn't that bad after all.
He has a real chance if he plays similar to that of yesterday.

Djokovic dismantled rising star Dominic Thiem in the other semi final and played extremely good tennis in doing so.
However once again I believe Murray has a realistic chance if he executes his skill sets to his highest level and sustains them to the finish. This is the only slam the Serb has never won so to some degree the heat is all on him.
The rare achievement of a career slam beckons for Djokovic and he knows it all too well.
Djokovic has been irritable and ratty at stages in this tournament and nearly left himself vulnerable to big trouble when his racquet nearly careered into a line judge.
If Murray can get Djokovic in this sort of state again it can only help the Scot. At the highest level with such fine margins sporting contests are often decided in the mind imo.
If Murray can get in the head of his opponent and dictate terms of the match he has a serious opportunity to win this thing.
Very tough to call......... so I won't .

I think Murray has a chance, Clay isn't either players favourite surface and Murray seems to be getting better with each round. This could be his year.

My pessimistic attitude worked for the Wawrinka match so hopefull work tomorrow.
Pat Cash thinks Murray will win but Novack tends to find a way, than again........ Ahh you have got me at it now

Yes Roddick was limited in his game and Federer always seemed to have his number. Shame for Roddick that he just happened to be in the same generation as Federer, that serve would have been able to carry him to more slams if Federer wasn't always in the final.

Going back to Murray, Djokovic does hold a commanding lead in the head to heads, but its still a competitive rivalry - all the matches are always physical and highly competitive. The winner is always spent by the end of the match, regardless whether Novak or Andy, they've known they've earnt it. A lot of the time their matches are decided by just a few points difference, there's a lot of the 23 that Novak has won that could have gone the other way. Just a bit more belief on the big points is the key to Andy's first French Open title on Sunday. They've both got the game to win, I just want Andy to do it. I think it would be an excellent and thoroughly deserved way to round off a brilliant clay season for him.
