RE: Ofcom Discussion
Ofcom's latest broadcasting bulletin came out today issue number 235 and dated 05/08/2013 .
Quite a lot of babe channel beaches and investigations are mentioned in the bulletin .
As mentioned previously by Digital Dave in this thread Satellite Entertainment Limited have been found in breach and given a £40,000 fine for advertising websites that give links to R18 material , this ruling and fine is mentioned in this latest bulletin .
Studio 66 have been found in breach on 4 seperate occasions, info posted by Digital Dave in the Studio 66 thread , see post below .

Despite the number of breaches it seems that they've avoided a fine by the skin of their teeth, but the company has been summoned to a meeting at Ofcom Towers to discuss compliance procedures.
On the subject of why S66 start their adult programming at 9.30pm, one paragraph in the bulletin clears this up. As one of the breaches concerned a model showing too much at 9.04pm, and as this type of thing has happened before at S66, Jamie undertook to start adult chat at 9.30pm to allow a buffer period.

The Licensee did add that in light of this content, and “having experienced issues in the past with the transition from pre- to post-watershed we have now decided to revise our internal guidelines in these matters”.
Specifically, 965 TV said that it would be “shifting the end and start time of our day-time and night-time shows by 30 minutes. This will mean the Non-Adult day-time show will finish at 21:30 with the
Adult Night-time show starting at 21:30”. In addition, it said that it would “continue to work on making sure that the transition” between daytime and night time content would be “as smooth as possible and that the graduation in the level of the content is done over an extended period”.
On top of those in breach findings against Studio 66 and SEL Ofcom mention in the bulletin that they have launched new investigations into something broadcast on Playboy TV Chat on the 28/05/2013 and ChatGirl TV 2 on the 04/06/2013 . Ofcom seem to be cracking down on the babe channels once more .
Life is short . Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile .

Please note that this is a comment which I seen posted on the Studio66 general discussion thread, I used it on this thread here to underline exactly where the problems start which is proved to be case by this find by Digital Dave which was also posted on the Studio66 thread.

My take on all of this is that Nightshows should start at 9PM. By that I mean they should start proper. I am somewhat confused as to how Studio66 claim to have moved their nightshow to a new start time of 2130.
Firstly the girls aren't even allowed to get their tit's out until after 10PM so just how the fuck can you justify anything as a nightshow when nothing is on show
I'm not suggesting that the channels turn around to ofcom and tell them to go and fuck themselves but at least give the bastards some kind of counter argument to their ridiculous rules.
It seems to be that when ofcom summon the channels up to HQ for a meeting it's exactly the same feeling for them as it was when you were at school and you got summoned to the headmasters office and you knew you were in trouble.
Are ofcom really that intimating that they leave channels execs physically shaking at their mere presence. All this Yes Sir, Sorry Sir bullshit talk just shows to me just what a bunch of gutless cowards the lot of them are.
