The Punisher S1 Ep 1-13;

That's another series ticked off on the 'Netflix series to watch list' about one of the black sheep of the Marvel Super-Hero Universe Frank Castle/The Punisher a former US Marine turned vigilante having faced a double tragedy after witnessing the murder of his family & then was later assumed dead in action by his Marine Corps & was given his own gravestone.Whilst the death of his family maybe true Frank is indeed alive & well under a new identity Pete Castalioni whilst trying to hold down a regular civilian job by day by night serving up vigilante justice to criminal gangs,mob bosses etc all the while trying to piece together who was responsible for the deaths/murders of his family & put those guilty people into the ground.
Despite being a Marvel character Frank Castle/Punisher isn't blessed with special abilities or powers like other characters but over-compensates that by being a one-man-army,a killer with a code who just refuses to die (& be reunited with his family again) or lay-down for anyone or anything.a 100% certified badass like John McClane,John Wick,John Rambo etc all rolled into one.

Certain roles raises actors profiles & actor John Bernthal nailed it playing Frank Castle a torured soul who can turn from being a devout family man (shown through flashbacks in the happier times with his family) into his alter-ego The Punisher on the turn of a six pence.A brilliant & often brutal first series where Frank finds innovative ways of killing the enemy (like strapping a bomb to a decapitated head & launching it into the path of unsuspected enemies) & I'm just about to watch the 2nd series.

Supernatural Ep 13 “Lebanon” Season 14 Trailer “300th Ep”

What a fantastic Ep it had every thing tears of laughter, tears of happiness and Joy and tears of sadness. It’s credit to all the cast and crew as to why this show has run on for so long and long may it continue.

A 2013 2-parter in which Bailey recreates the explorations of Alfred Russell Wallace, the plucky amateur who also worked out the theory of evolution, but got done out of his full credit by Charles Darwin & his wily mates.

Back In Time For School BBC2 Thursday(s) 8pm - the 70's episode. It brought back a lot of memories of primary school, school dinners and playing with more freedom both at school and outside. Didn't remember the Schools Union striking and marching for kids' rights though(too young) but I did of course remember watching Grange Hill when it first started on BBC One. Next up the 1980's, what a time to be a teen that was.
