Let us look at it as a date, now if you took 1 of so-call famous models or pornstars on a date to a nice restaurant with reasonable price food and drink, they wouldn't be too impressed. So you would take them to a restaurant where it would cost you an arm and a leg for a meal for 2, hence their high rates!! For what it's worth, from my experience. The girls typically hand over 30-35% to the agency. They don't care who the punter is as long as they have the cash - most would not be happy to think that a "fan"was even aware they were escorting. Plenty are willing to pay 500 quid plus, but even this doesn't make a huge amount for a "one-off". This isn't a side line for girls, it's the main way they make money and fund their lifestyle. Many travel to the Europe, the US and Middle East where they are unknown so are not trading on their babeshow "fame". Flip side is, they are competing with other high end models from outside of the UK so can't charge much over that rate when they're away from home. Bottom line, it's just a business to them. They have no interest in the financial predicament of the man of the moment.

One of the previous posters is correct, this is not a game played by those with a spare couple of thousand quid - footballers, entrepreneurs, city boys and actors etc are by far the main participants. This has been the case for years. Regular guys don't influence rates at this end of the market.

Other than one or two exceptions that I've come across, all have pretty much been in this line of work at some stage. Interestingly, most end up spending their cash and have nothing to show for it once their 15 minutes of fame and fortune is over. Never ceases to amaze me how coveted a handbag or pair of shoes is.

Apologies if the above offends anyone. But it is only borne out of experience. Please don't PM me asking me for names. Annoying as it may be, I won't ever do that. What I will say is that Twitter is a very interesting social media. Holiday snaps of glamourous ladies in far off locations without a boyfriend can be particularly enlightening. Also, self portrait mirror photos of very dressed up ladies in expensive hotels can be quite telling. Or sitting at a nightclub table with a group of fellow highly attractive ladies being hosted by one or two guys might also give you clues...

^ In response to your last paragraph, when I suggested this a while back, I was slammed for it. Stupid I was for naming certain women who I thought "might" escort, but my main point was that I found it odd that certain women had posted pictures of them on holiday, ALONE, in far off loactions.

I won't mention who, but there have been numerous well known babe channel women who post photos of them on beaches, in hotels, and other locations far away in Dubai, Egypt, Jamaica, Mexico, France etc, but many of them are pics taken only by the women(Them holding their phones etc), and they appear alone. That's what made me wonder why they would go on vacation by themselves, especially considering they are women, and my generalization is that women prefer to go with friends.

Sometimes I've seen certain pics where it's one woman and many men in the background MUCH older than them, dressed in Tux's.

Now I know not all of these pictures mean diddly squat (I know many non escorts who go to black tie events, charity balls, hotel events etc), but it's the ones in far away locations with the women appearing to be by themselves, maybe with one other woman if that, which raises some red flags.

^^ Regarding women taking pics of themselves alone, bear in mind many women use things like their twitter feeds predominantly for work related purposes. They may be away with family or friends outside the industry and choose to keep them out of the pics they post there to keep the two sides of their life separate.
