Didn't have time to watch the documentary today, so I'm still unclear about what these peole actually do. Why is it so much very worse than prostitution, and what difference it is the the girls of the babechannel who drain men of their money, have wishlist and none of the men get a single sniff form them.

It's all exploiting the desperate, lonely or just plain stupid.

There's a difference between simply having, and even publicising, a wish list, and actively encouraging and enticing guys to buy items from that list to the point where this actually becomes a way of earning a living (I still can't help feeling that there must be some point at which these stop being 'gifts' and become income that should be declared for tax purposes).

I agree that the guys who fall for this are mugs, but that doesn't excuse those that exploit them so shamelessly for their own gain. Con-men routinely target the weak and vulnerable, such as the elderly. Is that OK, because those pensioners who give up their life savings are just mugs, serves them right!

The difference with prostitution is that at least with a prostitute, your money and gifts gets you a shag, there is a clear end product. Also with the babeshows, you phone for a sex chat, that is the service being sold. The rinsers work by selling a dream, a dream that you may have a genuine friendship with them, which may lead to something more. It's a carefully crafted con which exploits the weak and vulnerable just the same as those doorstep con-men ripping off pensioners.

At the end of the day guys have a simple choice to make the way i see it wake up and smell reality, the chances of me dating one of the girls of the TV is the same as winning the lottery it aint gonna happen or the chances are very slim. These girls are very attractive and there only gonna appeal to rich guys. You can have the best personailty in the world and a GSOH but thats not gonna hook you up with the likes of Danica or anyone else for that matter. I suppose everyone has to make money at the end of the day and if guys are stupid enough top buy things of an amazon wishlists there more the fool them.

Munch that's an excellent post and probably the best definition yet of the serious issue at the heart of this.

Sadly it will soon be buried by self absorbed circular posts that seem to be trying to sidestep the known facts or just wind people up, but nonetheless a very good post.

^^^^ Agreed, a very good post. There have been a number of well-reasoned posts on this subject over the last few days but sadly they all woosh over the head of Danica's chief apologist, who seems incapable of processing new information.

He prefers instead to recycle the same fixed, tired, sub-standard reasoning whilst completely ignoring any ideas or facts which might interfere with this.

OK I'll agree with you totally, Danica is this big evil bitch that solely spends her time rising poor vunrable ikle men out of the last two coppers they have. And all she did in the big brother house was deliberately play off and prick tease those poor innocents in there. I mean, two multi millionaire media people must are just so niave they where surely juicey pickings for the wicked lady.

People don't just make wish lists and not bring attention to them.

We need more information about how much she actually earns from this wish list, earn a living from it? seems unlikely to me. How many men out there are stupid enough to buy these things? She claims that over 90% of her income comes from modelling, something that seems to be lost. Also, is that documentery the only place that information is coming from? I have not seen (though i have not read most of the post on here) her using this forum to get people to buy her stuff off the wish list, which I'd find extremely unusual, maybe there is, it would be nice to have links to her basically begging. Does she do it through her official website? If she does, people know EXACTLY what they are letting themselves in for. Is she just picking random strangers up in a nightclub? (which seems dangerous to me). Is she chosing sad losers who have never had any luck with women and suddenly this beautiful woman is interested in them?

A lot more ACTUAL information is needed to say one way or another, one sensationalist documentary doesn't really cut it.

There's a vast difference between a conman and what Danica does via her websites, people must know what's what. Has for your emotive use of pensioners. If you give your lives savings to somebody you barely know with the hopes the hopes of getitng riches beyound your wildest dreams, WITHOUT doing your indipendant investigation then yes they are mugs. Conmen play on mugs. But remember, both of these people, the 'victems' of Danica or the poor pensioners are motivated by either sex or greed, looked at that way, my sympthay diminishes somewhat. And i loath conmen.

This is a vague area for me, does she ACTUALLY promise them a shag? or do they assume they have spent some money on a women it automatically entitles them to fuck her? Becasue that is exactly the impression I got from the two in the BB house, becasue these two fellas where ok with her they thought they had a claim on her ass. Too many men assume if they buy a drink for a woman at a nightclub it entitles them to sex. Looked at like that, I hope there's many more women take up the profession as pay back.
