Do me a favour! Disrespectful to who? And more to the point how?
She put on a better performance in that single night than most UK girls do in a whole week. If that's how the American stars perform, bring on the USA!!

no i am not, i would have no problem with elite having a Union Flag (it's only a union jack if it's flying on a ship :rolleyes , a st George's or st Andrews crosses as they would be appropriate for the country the channel is in, but i have a big problem with the usa flag and all that it stands for, seeing it last night really disheartened me there is enough americanisation in the uk with out helping them

RE: Tasha Reign - Chat & Discussion
See the point I was trying to make?
First of all, there was NOTHING disrespectful about having an American flag motif, and the only reason I wrote what I wrote is because I find American patriotism to be shoved in in our faces at times, hence my comment about rolling my eyes when I see four flags on every building, or every American talk show host wearing the American pin, as if the studio imposed it on them. I knew we'd get someone who would be offended by this, because of how much America is hated by many other people. I wasn't offended, and find it thoughtful of Jamie to do this, but sadly our jingoism, even when good hearted, tends to rub other countries the wrong way, because it can be a bit much, and America isn't always the squeaky clean country it pretends to be.

RE: Tasha Reign - Chat & Discussion
Winsaw fuck the flag, the focus is always on the model, irrespective of the background, I'll tell you what if you get that kind of performance from the model's if they have an American flag behind behind them then perhaps they should all have the backdrop of the stars and stripes behind them if it brings out the same performance as Tasha, also Winsaw Americans are very patriotic more so than the British in many ways so to show offence at the flag is to show intolerance which is exactly the same kind of behaviour that Ofcom show's towards the Babe Shows, think about it that way, being offended is exactly the kind of talk I do not want to hear and is exactly what we and many on this forum are trying to stomp out, be proud of who you are and if that means showing off the flag of your Country then so be it, I really hope that nobody on this forum is equally offended by my Scottish Flag because I'm very patroic too, the only thing regards flags was when World Cup 2010 was on and forcing Scottish babes like Caty Cole and Sophia Knight doning the English flag instead of the Scottish and that was different for very good reasons, Tasha on the other hand is American and proud so let her fly that flag high and proud
