You'd need to be more specific, you speak in plurals.
If I have posted anything that is deemed to be propaganda, tell me what it is and then may be I can explain in context.
You need to understand that i have dyslexia (yes yes, lies all is lies I know) and mildly aspergic. So I tend to use words that fit in my mind, other people may choose other words, other people may be more diplomatic for the want of a better word, but the words I use are normally right if a little blunt and to the point.
In this case, the images of the the child that died WAS used to have a greater emotional impact on who ever saw it - and it worked. The plight could have merely been stated, but, has they say, an image paints a thousand words, and it was done to get sympathey for their plight, it is that bit alone that i would call propaganda.
Does any body know the name of the child that died? without looking it up? Her death could have been the catalyst that helped literally millions and save thousands of lives, yet I doubt very much anybody could just say right of top of their heads who the child was. Some poeple are being so indignant that i used a particular word but I bet they don't know who that child was.
What people failed to notice in all this out raged finger waggin, no where did i say it was wrong, quite the opposite. If these images were merely reported their plight would have been pretty much ignored.
How many gave two hoots about the slaughter in Rwanda at the time? as opposed to Yugoslavia that was more reported due to them being Europeans and not unimportant Africans in a place there was no oil (sarcasm very much intended). That's becasue it was reported much more, unless you watched panarama you wouldn't have know it was happening.
Unfortunately people getting in a tizzy about the words I use or how I use them is somehitng I've had to live with all my life, even those closest to me, but they tend to think, WTF is he saying here rather than plucking at whatever it is that has cause the offence.
I must say it is a drag thought, especially on places like this where I end up spending more time trying to justify what I have wrote than the on the point I was making.
