Do you know what time that was? The server logs may show something.

It was around about 18:45. I was just about to post a trace in the other thread.

I like to think that I am one of the more reasonable, rational and polite members of the forum, but even I am getting thoroughly fed up with this patronising, disingenuous and condescending "what time time did this happen" and "I can't see anything wrong" attitude from those who answer on behalf of those in charge of this website.

Please stop treating us like idiots and pretending that you can't see anything wrong when something clearly is, and has been for some time.

if your pointing fingers making accusations... please feel free to back that up with facts...
admin knows theres something wrong they are working out a solution with the server host. but because so many people dont understand there computers Think i have an error on that site but not this 1. it must be this sites problem. they have little or no understanding about how the net works.

so they come here and say its this sites problem when its not. the trace route data proved it.
only twice was tracedata showing there was a problem with the site.
the rest of the time it was the network between them and the server.

admin set up this topic specifically to help thoughts that had problems with mysql errors guess what it got flooded with people that were having network issues, not actual site errors that involved the BB sql scripting.

no 1 as far as im aware has said they cant see a problem, so apologies and have some patience...
either that or sign out and dont bother coming back Tongue

It's stated above that "the problems which sometimes occur at peak times are under investigation. Eventually some changes will be made to try and address the issue and at that point the site will be offline for 30 minutes." That's the current statement on the issue and that's where we stand at the moment.

Perhaps mr williams can explain which part of this statement he considers to be "patronising, disingenuous and condescending" and can also explain where in the statement it says that we can't see anything wrong?

There seems to be a problem at the first jump across to the US. Notice the "*" in the middle. I have no idea what that means, but it paused on the trace at that point.
