But can anyone explain the science behind that? How does a black hole affect time so much like that? I know that it is something to do with gravitational time dilation and I have researched it but just find the concept difficult to understand.

I mean, if the guy in the ship hypothetically had a telescope and could see brand and cooper on miller's planet would he see them in slow motion for example? As obviously band and cooper where only there for a few hours, yet the other guy on the ship aged 20 odd years.

The theory of relativity is correct and this is actually possible in a very strong gravitational area? I just can't grasp the concept of how this actually works???

did a google search found this

" To oversimplify the explanation, you have to understand the curvature of space time around a black hole. The basic principle is that because of the curvature of spacetime around a black hole, the amount of "distance" a beam of light has to cover is greater near a black hole. However, to an observer in that gravitational field, light must appear to always be 300,000 km/sec, time has to slow down for that individual as compared to someone outside that gravitational field as related by the time/distance relationship of speed. That is it!!! That is the theory. Which is very true. However, I just cannot accept it in principle and from a practical sense!!!

Oh well. Beam me up Hannah's Pet and I'll see you at the black hole mate! Rep given though for your effort in doing research on my behalf.

Shaun The Sheep The Movie 9.5/10

Hilarious.Smile

Wink ..half a point off because a few scenes are really scary and distressing - they overdwell on scenes of the sheep crying/being menaced and in terror in a couple of places.

And as for the innuendo where the animal control inspector sticks his head up the arse of a "horse"*....eekSurprised

How it got only a U certificate is baffling.TongueBounceBounceBounce

Goldeneye, one of fav Bond films this had it all action, a great cast with Pierce Brosnan as the new Bond and a great cast of villain. For me this film felt like a classic Bond film with a more modern feel and sound track was great too and looks stunning on blu ray. 10/10
