Rush
After I got over the initial disappointment of realising it was not a biopic on the legendary Liverpool striker I really got into it.

I hate formula 1 with a passion but even I got absolutely hooked on the story of the intense rivalry between Nikki Lauda and James Hunt. 8/10
Would have been a 10 if there were not creative licence involved.

Terminator Genisys:

Really good 5th film in the terminator franchise. The special effects are brilliant along with some very good action sequences and the plot is a little complicated but can be followed. Especially loved all the nods and winks it did to the previous terminator films and the terminator tv series. Emilia Clarke is very good as Sarah Connor and the rest of the cast play their part too, especially Arnie.

8/10

From what I've seen of the effects there not that great T-1000 effects look should look better then version of seen in Terminator 2, part of magic the first and second film was mixture of practical effects from the late Stan Winston and special effects from ILM. I know the the film does plot holes and there a very big one which i won't spoil. Full review next Tuesday.

Terminator Genisys 7/10 - a decent watch but a bit disappointing, as Kal-El a couple of big plot holes.

The Terminator, now this film is a classic this is how you make a movie. This film it all great acting, the chemistry between the cast was believable even the effects still hold up today. It looks even better now on blu ray. 9.5/10.

RE: Last film you watched
Terminator Genisys, lets cut right to it about this film the best thing in it is Arnie, the film is average at best for action you loads of that but it's too CGI. The film has so many plot holes and things that don't make sense or are never explained yeah I know there to start up a new trilogy but you leave more questions then answers. The casting is a bit hit and miss Emila Clarke does a decent job of playing Sarah Conner but she's not as good as Linda Hamilton watch her character in the first film where she's naive but by the second film she's turned kick ass and can hold her own. Jai Courtney again decent but feels nice cast his totally buff you can't really believe his been through so much suffering compared to the Michael Biehn and no believe chemistry between Emilia and Jai. J K Simmons such a great actor and totally under used I wanted to see more of him. Mart Smith under used and barely in it the twist with him makes no sense. Jason Clarke decent but again wasn't feeling it, Byung - Hun Lee as the new T-1000 under used and doesn't explain why his in 1984 and the effects of still look like the Terminator 2. Courtney B Vance and Dayo Okeniyi both under used barely in it.
The first 40 mins really after that it's just confusing starts making no sense and so many plot holes. Films like Back To The Future Part 2 and even the first film did a better job in explaining time travel and alternate time lines.
Reboots and alternate timelines plots can work look at the new Star Trek film or X Men Days of Future Past proved it can be done.
Part of what is missing from the terminator films is no heart or relationship building, a better tighter script, it's missing the scare and horror the first two films had but were just left with a film with bad dialog, effects which are hit or miss and massive plot holes. There is something after the credits and it's s WTF moment because makes no sense, disappointing 6.9/10.

The trailers does spoil and revels too much of the film.

Not shocked as Terminator Genisys not doing very well at the box office chances of a sequel slim Sad
