Thank FUCK for that!!!

The guy was becoming an embarrassment to himself with his performances over the past couple of seasons, and in grave danger of being forgotten for the fine player and loyal servant that he was.

He should twice have been sent-off this season (at Stoke and West Brom), ironically in two of United's only three wins on the road in the Premiership and it was clear that he was no longer up to it.

He'll probably be best remembered as much for the crap 'tache and for hating scousers as for his fine playing career, where he formed a formidable partnership with David Beckham down the right for both club and country, and became one of English football's most bemedalled players.

Somehow I don't think Kenny Dalglish will be calling on his services in the Anfield boot room though I reckon...

well that was an absolutely crappy day at work, rite where were we? chelsea last season had ballack and cole playing for them ok. they play a 4 4 2. only 4 midfielders out of ballack, cole, lampard, malouda, zhirkov, mikel, and essien can play in a 4 4 2. which 4 of them would have been in chelseas 1st 11 last season. you can probably pick any of them 4 and they will do a job ok cos its strength in depth. arsenals youngsters went up to st james park in the carling cup and won 4-0 against probably not a strong newcastle side i admit. newcastle went to arsenal and played against their so called 1st eleven and beat them 1-0 at the emirates. arsenals 1st 11 couldnt beat newcastle at home where as their so called 2nd 11 beat newcastle 4-0 away from home. the big clubs has some1 has already mentioned have bigger squads and whose to say who should be in their 1st 11, cos i bet wenger, ancellotti, ferguson, redknapp dont know what their best 11 is so why should the supporters know who should be in the 1st 11. any of those teams could field 2 different teams with probably international players filling every position, ok am i rite? which 1 of those 2 teams which are both full of internationals would be their 1st 11? your other point about is it ok to field a weaken team in the fa cup, what i said was teams do that but they dont make 10 changes in the premier league like wolves and blackpool did, cos thats why they both got fined, and the cups are different competitions altogether!

Will somebody please take Ronald Zubar off our hands for free? I'm sick to the back teeth of that bloke's mistakes. Another woeful blunder left us with a big fat zero yet again tonight, and looks like another couple of depressing, suicide contemplating weekends coming up for me.

Wonder if we'll get charged for fielding a weakened side against Man U on saturday. The premier league probably won't believe that's the best eleven we've got..

They may aswell chalk up a loss for us in every game from now on. I'm sick of them, they've let me down too often. I'm seriously considering never going again after that tonight.
