Not necessarily the current regime. Apparently the dossier was handed to the FBI by John McCain. Alot of the Republican high guard don't want Trump either but I didn't think they'd want to peak this early tbo.
I thought they would wait until he was safely inaugurated then, in due course, get him impeached. Then Pence becomes President, the Republicans are still in power, and everything's right with the world again

war in the middle east and a new cold war with russia/china=jobs program for the military industrial complex.
