Yeah in principle I agree TD.
Might be nice to have one day of sunny weather a week though just so I can hang my washing out to dry .

And suddenly the Heavens opened

Still not nearly enough rain in my area, hosepipe ban still in place & expected to last into winter. I've got some power washing that will have to wait until Spring.

And I thought it was pissing it down a few days back. It's been absolutely hammering it down all day today with gale force winds to boot.
Get the barges and canoes out.
Cars not required .

Fucking snow yesterday. Then more fucking snow today. 2 freezing days at work and now it's pissing down.


I should probably just hibernate.

Got soaked Saturday night right through, some drains in town were overflowing dry yesterday but shoes not dried out

Message to PM: - If you're going to house build - don't build on any more flood plains please - leave them alone! This is what happens when you get a month's (or a weeks' worth) of rain in a few hours, it's go nowhere to go - except overflow a drainage system that can't bloody cope!

It's nice of the Scandanavians to give a storm my name, even though they spelt it Johannes like that guy in Strictly. I won't complain if all the gorgeous Skandi babes have my name on their lips. If it moves south to the UK, though, then I'll blame it on that guy in Strictly.
