Quote:- We have been told that Randy Orton has been cleared to return to in-ring competition full-time now. Orton was either cleared on Tuesday or after Tuesday. He worked a WWE Live Event match in Missouri and took a few bumps during the match.

As previously reported, Orton suffered a mild concussion in his match with Brock Lesnar at the WWE SummerSlam event last month. WWE expected him to be cleared in time for his match against Bray Wyatt at the WWE Backlash event, but he was not and they had to change the match up.

Quote:- There has been talk about WWE doing a major NXT Live Event at Madison Square Garden before the end of this year, and an NXT Takeover: Boston event in early 2017.

WWE is also planning on doing Takeover events in conjunction with WWE’s big four events — The Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series. It’s must easier for the company to have sell-out NXT Takeover ticket sales when they run venues in conjunction with major WWE events.

Quote:-Eva Marie’s suspension for the WWE Wellness Policy has officially ended today, however she may not be returning to WWE programming immediately.

While Eva was away from the company, she landed a role for the upcoming film ‘Inconceivable’ that stars Nicolas Cage. Filming for the movie kicks off sometime in October, so if she does return to the company, it would only be for a short while before she would take more time off. There is always the possibility that WWE just keeps her off until filming has wrapped up.

Quote:- As previously reported, The New York Post published a story that claimed that both WWE and Sinclair Broadcasting have put in bids recently to purchase TNA Wrestling. We have been told that while Ring of Honor have put in an offer, WWE has not.

It’s being said that the reason Ring of Honor would make an offer is only so that the company could secure their television deals for ROH. They most likely would not continue the TNA brand if they purchased the company.

In regards to WWE possibly buying the promotion, they would only want to buy it for the tape library. They would definitely not keep the promotion around, and it would shut down. As far as to how much WWE would pay for TNA’s library, we have been told that they pay around $500 per hour of taped television.

So if you factor in on average of 100 hrs of television a year, for 14 years you get around 14,000 hrs of television. 14,000 hrs of television at $500 per hr, WWE would pay around $7 million for their library. That is if they wanted their library.

Dixie Carter still owns 70% of TNA Wrestling while Corgan and another investor own 30%. As of this writing, they still need around $600,000 to fund the upcoming set of tapings and Bound for Glory.

Quote:- WWE.com has updated their website with the Cruiserweight Championship, which will debut on RAW this week. It was won by TJ Perkins during the Crusierweight Classic live finale.

It doesnt appear as the 2016 version will carry the lineage of the belt created in WCW in 1996. That belts history was merged with the WCW light heavyweight title when WWE bought WCW. Eventually, WWE rebranded it as the Cruiserweight title and ran with it until 2007.

The listing on WWE.com shows TJ Perkins as the first and only champion.

WWE still acknowledges the WCW history of the United States title, which goes all the way back to Harley Race and Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling in 1975.

Quote:- As seen on RAW a couple weeks back, Triple H made his return to WWE programming and helped assist Kevin Owens in his win over Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Big Cass to win the WWE Universal Champion.

Triple H has yet to appear on RAW to explain his actions for assisting Owens in the win and backstabbing Rollins. Its being said that Triple H is expected to return to WWE television soon, possibly as early as WWE Clash of Champions.

As previously reported, WWE had plans in the past to have Triple H face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 32, however when Rollins went down with a knee injury, WWE was forced to change their plans. Its been rumored now that WWE could be building for that match again, presumably for WrestleMania 33.
