Andy Murray

Andy Murray begins his ATP World Tour Finals campaign on Monday evening.
His first round robin match is against Marin Cilic who has been in mighty impressive form of late and beat Murray in Cincinnatti earlier in the year.
The Scot has a very tough group to negotiate even to reach the semi finals with Stan Wawrinka and Kei Nishikori also in his group.

In the other group that started today there was a 3 set win for Novak Djokovic over Dominic Thiem while Milos Raonic saw off Gael Monfils in straight sets.

Very good start for Murray in London tonight.
A 6-3 6-2 win over Marin Cilic to start the round robin phase. He will be happy to start with a win. His next match will be against Kei Nishikori on Wednesday afternoon. Nishikori had a straight sets victory over Stan Wawrinka earlier today.

Andy Murray battled hard against Kei Nishikori this afternoon to win an epic 3 hour and 20 minute struggle
6-7 (9-11) 6-4 6-4. In so doing he is maintaining his campaign to hold on to the World number one ranking at the end of the year.
It could go down to the wire.

Great match from Andy, Stan can be difficult but not today.

Semi Finals:

Andy Murray v Milos Raonic (From 2pm)

Novak Djokovic v Kei Nishikori (From 8pm)

Given the form Raonic has been in lately I would expect him to put Murray under pressure for at least a set and half before Murray hits back and wins, but I'd love to see Nishikori upset the odds and win but I just see Novak steamroller him!! But if both matches go to five sets then you'd certainly get your money's worth today!!

They won't go 5 sets.
It's best of three in this tournament .

Hopefully Murray and Djokovic both win and set up a year ending epic showdown for the World number one spot.
